5+1 habits specific to rich people
Hello again!
A few days ago something very interesting happened to me. I was with a friend in a park riding our bikes, when a car stopped at the traffic light. The car was not some regular car, it was a luxury car. A very beautiful yellow Ferrari.
I do not know, nor I believe it is important who the driver was, but my friend who was with me, the moment he saw the car he started to talk bad about the driver. Things like he must have stolen money to afford such car, or he has it because his parents are rich etc.
This attitude, of obvious envy, helped me understand something. My friend in question, like most of us, desired money, but he never earned enough to move from his parents house.
Why do you think? It’s the attitude of course!
5+1 specific habits of rich people
- Rich people don’t envy, they show respect.
The bible says: ”Ask and you shall receive”. Every time you are envious of someone who have what you desire, you associate that specific something with a bad emotion. Now tell me, will you ever obtain something that your brain believes it is bad?
Instead of being envious of successful people, praise them and wish them good luck, it will make you feel better!
- Rich people focus on only one thing at a time
A laser beam can cut through almos anything, because it focuses energy on only one point. The rich act the same. Instead, if starting countless project when they are enthusiastic and not finishing one, they set objectives and ”To do lists”, focusing all their energy on one objective to finish it.
- Rich people know the value of time
Contrary to popular belief, rich people are humans like us and they also only have 24h in a day. Brian Tracy said that he thinks about how much he earns per hour, not month or year.
Using this mentality, every time they engage in an unproductive action they know how much they will lose each day. Rich people don’t spend evenings in front of the TV or on social media, they work.
”Work 5 years like few would so that you could live a life like most dream” – Ange Laughan
- Rich people have a big library, poor people have a large TV
Do you think that when you have graduated you will not have to learn anything ever? If that was the case innovation would never have happened.
The more you know, the more you will earn. The only way to earn more money is to bring others more value. You can bring others more value only if you increase your own value.
Just an idea, instead of listening to music on your way to work, listen to an audiobook.
- Rich people don’t spend more than they earn
This might be obvious, but it isn’t. We see more and more people everyday who can’t pay the bank. Did you really have to borrow money to buy the latest Iphone or fur coat or heck know what else. Certainly you could go with a cheaper model.
The people in debt up to their neks are not people who can’t afford to live, no bank right in their mind will borrow them. The people in debt are middle class individuals who just like to spend more that they earn!
- Rich hang out with rich people
You know the saying: ”the enviroment will spoil you”. This is most certainly true, but it works both ways. If you will spend time with people that have the attitude of poor people, you will not get rich, ever!
Rich stay with rich and guess what, they will get even richer because they learn form each other. I can personaly testify, a few months after I have started to hang out and talk a lot with a certain rich friend of mine my income quadrupled(yep x4).
Now, you don’t have to spend time with Donald Trump, but if you earn 200€ and you know someone who earns 1000€/month, befriend him!
Do you this this attitude is helpful for you? Also, what would you have done if some Ferrari crossed your path?
I can’t wait to hear your opinions!
Best regards,
Edmond
